Hommage à Barbara® is a modern and vigorous bush rose created by Georges Delbard, admired for its dramatic colour and outstanding garden performance.
Its large, very double flowers bloom in a deep dark red, enhanced by rich velvety black reflections. The slightly serrated petal edges give each bloom an elegant, refined finish. Even in rainy weather, the flowers hold remarkably well, offering a generous and repeat flowering display from May until the first frosts.
This variety forms a well-balanced, nicely branched shrub with dense dark green foliage that beautifully highlights the intensity of its petals. A rare and practical feature of Hommage à Barbara® is its self-cleaning habit, as faded flowers drop naturally on their own, encouraging continuous blooming without extra effort.
Reaching a mature height of around 80 to 100 cm, this rose is ideal for borders, flower beds, or container growing in full sun. It thrives best in rich, deep, well-drained soil and is known for its good natural disease resistance.
A truly expressive Delbard rose, celebrated for its intense colour, elegant blooms, and reliable strength in the garden.
Supplied as strong 1-year-old plants in 5L containers.
