Honeysuckle ‘Goldflame’ is a classic ornamental vine valued for its vibrant colour, sweet fragrance, and lively summer presence in the garden. It produces striking bi-coloured tubular flowers in shades of deep pink to coral with warm golden yellow interiors.

The blooms are not only visually impressive but also richly scented, often compared to notes of vanilla and jasmine. Flowering begins in early summer and can continue through much of the growing season, sometimes into early autumn during warm years.

Unlike some more aggressive honeysuckle types, ‘Goldflame’ is widely planted in home gardens because it combines vigour with manageable growth and is not considered invasive in most landscapes. Its flowers attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, adding movement and life to the garden.

This variety can be trained as a climbing vine over pergolas, trellises, or fences, where it gradually reaches a height of approximately 3 to 5 metres. In smaller gardens, it may also be pruned and maintained as a free-standing shrub of moderate size.
