Origin: A mix of traditional Southeast Asian bird’s eye chilli varieties commonly grown in Indonesia and surrounding regions
Flavour: Very hot with a sharp, clean chilli heat and light fruity notes
Best place to grow: Greenhouse, polytunnel, or a warm, sunny outdoor spot with shelter
Fun Fact: Rawit chillies are a key ingredient in many Indonesian and Southeast Asian dishes
Shape, size & colour: Produces small, slender fruits that ripen through shades of green, red, and orange depending on the mix
Applications: Ideal for Asian cuisine, sambals, hot sauces, and spicy cooking in small quantities
Planting Period: February to April (indoors)
